The 2022/23 Manchester City Away Jersey features the return of an iconic color combination.
Conceived by coach Malcolm Allison, vertical red and black stripes debuted in 1968, a season that will go down in club history. Led by legends, Summerbee, Bell, Lee, Book, Young and Doyle, City won the FA Cup and the Charity Shield. The same away kit was worn the following season when the Sky Blues made their first appearance in a European final, winning the 1970 European Cup Winners' Cup.
The new version features angled stripes, inspired by the badge and the three Manchester rivers.
